MAINTENANCE ENGINEER I

SUMMARY:  
Maintain the property equipment, electronics, rooms preventive maintenance program and Light Stay program, consistently keep updated records on file.  Respond to all internal and external guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Responsible for the continuous maintenance of property equipment
2. Responsible for guest rooms preventive maintenance and Light Stay Program. 
3. Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper and maintenance as required. 
4. Respond and satisfy internal and external guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner. 
5. Maintain proper records of the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program. 
6. Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely basis. 
7. Maintain all mechanical areas and tools in an orderly and clean condition.
8. Maintain department pass-on log book as required.   
9. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED, technical/vocational school preferred. 
CPR, AED, First Aid certified a plus
CPO certification a plus    

EXPERIENCE:  Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred but not required. 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of technical fields including electrical, plumbing and general maintenance
Must have professional presentation and communication
Must be a positive team player and provide outstanding guest service
Ability to make independent decisions
Must be motivated and possess an excellent work ethic  
Must hold a good driving record and ability to drive a shuttle or van

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Limited, local travel to parts store.

LINE COOK 

SUMMARY:
Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per dupe from servers.
2. Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs.
3. Date all food containers and rotate as per SOP, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
4. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of stock items or possible shortages. Assist in keeping buffet stocked.
5. Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
6. Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per SOP.
7. Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.
8. Other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION:     High school education or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:   Minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience in food service (restaurant, in room dining, banquets) or related work experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to efficiently produce an excellent product following all health and safety requirements
Ability to operate, maintain, properly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment
Ability to understand and follow directives
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Must have excellent guest service skills

Chandler Restaurant Bartender

Summary: Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and clean up of bar area while enduring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of IHR standards and profit maximization.

Essential Functions:
1. Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following
established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage
and safety controls as prescribed by IHR standards. 
2.Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and
professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
3.Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room
charges in the exact manner outlined by IHR policies and procedures.
4.Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Manual dexterity in hands, and be able to reach overhead to retrieve stock.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Use pro-active sales approach with incoming reservation calls, engaging customers in the hotel & available hotel amenities, generating highest room and packages category sales at high conversion ratios
2) Capture all incoming call data in accordance with Sales Reservation System Requirements (NAVIS)
3) Using call tracking system, generating call backs to customers that did not book on previous calls, capturing additional revenue (Outbound selling)
4) Handle the group room block process from contract signing through check in including handling rooming lists, billing, and updates.
5) Form peer relationships with Travel Agents, Corporate, and Consortia Representatives
6) Training, coaching, developing additional staff members taking reservation calls
7) Assist Reservation Manager with weekly revenue meetings & reporting
8) Process all credit card authorizations
9) Update STR daily with transient, group, and room revenue figures
10) Work closely with Sales & Res Manager to create focused market strategy on named accounts
11) Perform assigned duties as necessary

EXPERIENCE:
• 2-3 years’ previous experience in a reservations department or front desk environment
• Previous exposure to yield management and forecasting
• Previous experience with ONQ Property Management System a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Ability to negotiate, sell, convince and influence
• Must have excellent guest service skills and ability to upsell
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in written correspondence
• Excellent computer skills required including knowledge of MS Office, Outlook
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Must have good mathematical and reasoning capabilities

COCKTAIL FIRE LOUNGE SERVER   (FT, PT SEASONAL)

SUMMARY:

Serves food and drinks to guests demonstrating and promoting positive guest relations. Works with a point of sale system, accepts money, and makes changes when needed. Assists Bartender with stocking, making coffee, and general cleaning.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Demonstrates and promotes positive customer and guest relations.
Serves cocktails and food to customers.

ROOM ATTENDANT

BASIC PURPOSE: Clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and report all damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.  Sixteen (16) rooms per day; fifteen (15) during summer season.  To include but not limited to:
- Picking up trash
- Changing linen and making the bed
- Cleaning entire bathroom
- Sweeping and dusting guest room
- Cleaning the windows and balcony 
2. Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations. 
3. Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Senior Housekeeper.  Turn in keys and unused supplies at end of shift. 
4. Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. 
5. Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turn in articles left in room. 
6. Special projects and support as assigned.

EDUCATION:   No formal education required; GED is preferred

EXPERIENCE:   Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  
Must be able to communicate in English
Must have the ability to efficiently clean rooms during an eight hour working day
Self-starting personality with an even disposition
Ability to meet standards of appearance
Ability to follow direction and be a respectful team player
Able to communicate well with guests and provide Ultimate Guest Service

FRONT DESK AGENT- SEASONAL

 

SUMMARY: Check-in and check-out guests and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
2. Pre-register, block reservations and take same day reservations and when necessary future reservations following hotel rate structures, discounts, and sell strategies.
3. Handle guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in a efficient and friendly manner
4. Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, safety boxes, etc.
5. Cancel room reservations according to procedures.
6. Walk customers in a professional and courteous manner according to procedures.
7. Inventory guest room keys according to policy and request re-keying as necessary.
8. Assist with responsibilities and duties in the areas of luggage, reservations or phones.
9. Verify registration cards against computer to ensure accuracy of name, type of payment, rate, and market segment.


EDUCATION:

Responsible for Spa reservations and coordination.
Scheduling treatments, guest registration whether it is a deluxe spa package or an individual spa treatment.

1. Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER I

SUMMARY:  


Maintain the property equipment, electronics, rooms preventive maintenance program and Light Stay program, consistently keep updated records on file.  Respond to all internal and external guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Responsible for the continuous maintenance of property equipment
2. Responsible for guest rooms preventive maintenance and Light Stay Program. 
3. Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper and maintenance as required. 
4. Respond and satisfy internal and external guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner. 
5. Maintain proper records of the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program. 
6. Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely basis. 
7. Maintain all mechanical areas and tools in an orderly and clean condition.
8. Maintain department pass-on log book as required.   
9. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
